The company is now seeking to add a Product Marketing Manager to its team. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this position will have responsibility for helping Bloom Energy successfully market its product and serve its customers. This position also has an opportunity to make a significant impact on the company direction and overall industry. Bloom Energy is an entrepreneurial venture and, as is typical with start-ups, the Product Marketing Manager's role goes beyond a traditional function �?? the person must have ability to act independently in an unstructured environment, operate proactively and have a passion and appreciation for the vision and mission of the company.
Responsibilities:
Support sales team in customer engagements
Develop, update, and release marketing materials such as presentations, whitepapers, and collateral
Lead pricing activities and customer value analysis based on complex quantitative analysis
Lead development and implementation of customer experience tools
Develop external messaging for media and analysts
Competitive research and analysis
Conduct quantitative and qualitative market analysis including prioritizing potential markets, segments and customers
Work cross functionally and collaboratively with Bloom's sales, product development, business development and finance teams
Qualifications:
5-8 years of marketing, product management, consulting and/or sales experience, preferably in the energy sector
Excellent communication skills �?? both written and oral
Strong analytical and financial skills
Ability to take complicated technical concepts and translate to a general audience in a compelling, succinct manner
Passion to be part of a team with goals to change the way the world's energy is produced, distributed and consumed.
Drive for quick results with vision to see how long term strategies must unfold
Strong self starter who is a team player and can work independently
