Job Overview:
This person will report to the Director of Franchise Marketing and be a key member of an every-evolving, highly creative, and dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will wear many hats-often in the same day-moving seamlessly from strategic brainstorm to pure execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creative development and approval of all marketing consumables including; product messaging packaging, videos, advertising, presentations, and research.
- Understands the customer life cycle and manage the dialog with our customers through all channels including; retail stores, online stores, and partner sites.
- Provide product launch leadership to sustain product, for new adaptations within existing franchises and brand new games.
- Be a bridge across the organization to nurture collaborative, productive relationships with the game studio, product management and sales teams worldwide.
- Developing franchise marketing strategies
- Ownership for home page and presentation for our franchises within company
- Take responsibility for how company games are represented throughout our sales and distribution ecosystem
- Directing franchise marketing tactics and product launches
- Defining and realizing customer communications strategy
Job Qualifications:
- BA in Business or equivalent; MBA a plus.
- 6 years+ of previous product marketing experience in a marketing role that included exposure to games marketing
- Proven success in shipping and successfully launching games
- Superb written and oral communications skills
- Strong prioritization skills
- Solid understanding of the entertainment sector and a strong natural affinity with the video games sector as a whole
- Proven ability to collaboratively work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives by inspiring and leading multidiscipline teams
- Ability to present business, marketing and product strategies internally and externally
- Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics
- Skilled at competitive analyses and market segmentation
- Ability to prioritize and set consistent strategic direction and strategies for customer acquisition and retention
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position company franchises and individual products in the market
- Self-motivated, revenue driven and passionate about making company the leader in casual video games
- Experience developing and implementing marketing programs, positioning & messaging, naming, and collateral for new and existing products
- Deep games experience and specifically casual games experience
- Ability to manage staff - indirectly and directly
