We also help support Google.org in the environmental work they do. In Green Marketing, our job is to help people understand and care about what we do to help the environment. By doing that, we hope more people and companies adopt these greener practices. Also, as people connect more powerfully with Google on an emotional level through the good we do, we hope they will love Google more. In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic marketing campaigns and programs that help raise awareness of Google's leadership in sustainability. Because our company's green efforts are growing, you will likely have a more fluid responsibility set than some of the more established Google.com products. Responsibilities:
Develop and manage marketing campaigns for one or more areas of green. Today, these include data center efficiency, workplace efficiency, renewable energy use, renewable energy investment, greener products, and Google.org clean energy.
Create strategic marketing campaigns that drive product adoption and engagement.
Drive marketing campaigns to build awareness and brand credit for Google's broader green initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA or BS Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience)
- 4 years of relevant Marketing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Belief for Google's environmental mission.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. Illustrated strong track record for working on and leading across complex cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated creativity and big thinking.
- Outstanding communications skills. Ability to translate complex issues into simple/intuitive communications and instruction.
- Outstanding execution and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
