The Creative Group/Toronto, ON, Canada (North East)Based in the Toronto North East, our corporate client is actively recruiting for a Webmaster / Designer to work with its organization on a 9 month on-site assignment.
The Webmaster / Designer would be responsible for editing, creating, and managing content for the company's mobile site and would generally involve making the web content that already exists, compatible for mobile platforms. The Webmaster / Designer will also be responsible for content management, site administration, and for implementing training on behalf of mobile initiatives. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this newly created Webmaster / Designer role comes with a great work/life balance.
Qualifications:
The ideal Webmaster / Designer will have 2 or more years of experience in new media and 2 or more years of experience with content management systems. This unique opportunity requires experience in graphic design and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML / CSS, and JavaScript, JQuery.
Candidates must have knowledge of web-ready graphic design and mobile optimization. As a Webmaster / Designer, candidates will also be expected to have basic copy writing skills to draft sample copy or illustrative text, and to run web analytics reports. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, personifying a strong team player who works well with others and who has solid customer service acumen.
