Online Marketing Manager

Job Description:

Join one of the nation's fastest-growing property development and management companies as an Online Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for a large network of websites, content, photos and social media operations. The Online Marketing Manager will implement the various tactical items associated with the company's multi-channel Internet marketing and SEO program. This role also includes creating and maintaining a strong social media presence for multiple residential communities, as well as training company employees on how to utilize social media to engage, serve and attract new residents.

Core Tasks Include:

�?� Accountability for data and product accuracy across an extensive network of websites
�?� Daily Web posts for property advertising purposes
�?� Multi-site SEO content building and content creation
�?� Site modifications, page additions, HTML, light CSS modifications and SEO review
�?� On-page SEO activities: optimization of meta content, content body, headers, images, etc.
�?� Off-page SEO activities: link building, local search, SEO content brainstorming
�?� Managing, engaging and growing 100-plus social media profiles that serve various apartment communities in the Los Angeles region
�?� Touching up photos, cleaning up property photos and Photoshop designing for various promotional advertising efforts, Facebook campaigns and more
�?� Coordinating with the Web Content Specialist for blogging, blog topic organization and content ideas for numerous websites
�?� Viral content creation: videos, infographics, city information, media relations, guest blogging, etc.
�?� Effective training and encouragement of company employees on how to use social media to engage, serve and attract new residents; communicating to company employees about how social media will benefit them and their role in the property development and management industry
�?� Implementation of approved deliverables
�?� Technical review and troubleshooting
�?� Ongoing website proofing and validations
�?� UX-end testing, validation and proposals
�?� Compilation and period reporting of statistics and analytics
�?� Exception reporting and settings audits
�?� Facilitating ongoing implementations and act as a direct liaison with service vendors
�?� Blackhat exposure management/prevention
�?� Coordinating email marketing campaigns with Sales and Marketing teams to align Web-based promotions/specials
�?� Administrating online prospect portals through content manager application(s)
�?� Benchmarking results, presentations and rankings against industry competitors and peers

Experience and Skills Needed:

�?� 3-4 years of Web operations experience
�?� 2-3 years of active social media marketing experience; proven and successful track record of social media engagement, creativity, and brand awareness expansion
�?� Understanding of SEO principals and optimization variables
�?� Solid understanding of Social Media such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and how they pertain to SEO best practices, as well as how to SUCCESSFULLY engage users on these websites. Experience with various social media management tools is a must.
�?� Photoshop skills are a MUST. Experience with the full Adobe Master Suite is a plus.
�?� Experience creating SEO press releases, article submissions and blog posts is essential.
�?� Substantial experience in utilizing Wordpress Wordpress plugins, CMS, WP Social Plugins, Joomla and other CMS platforms
�?� Knowledge of the Los Angeles and Santa Monica locales, major employers and attractions is a plus.
�?� Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
�?� Additional programming languages is a plus.
�?� Working knowledge of Web analytics and social benchmarks, as well as multi-channel ROI factors
�?� Must be a fast learner, self-motivated and able to multitask on multiple projects simultaneously.
�?� Organization is essential. Must be able to organize tasks/projects and prioritize in an efficient manner.
�?� Experience with Property Solutions/Resident Works content manager is a plus.
�?� Exposure or experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus.
�?� Must be a team player and be able to contribute to the team effort at all times.
�?� A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business or Computer Science is highly desirable.

This position is located in the Westwood area of West Los Angeles, California until this summer, when the company moves its headquarters to Santa Monica, California. The Online Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Internet Marketing and routinely interface with company owners, the Director of Marketing and Sales, the Web Content Specialist, as well as Property Managers on various website modifications and additional tasks as needed.
