Position Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Online Marketing. This position will lead eCampus.com ' s Online Marketing department by focusing on development of marketing strategy, website product merchandising, and implementing business marketing partnerships. This position also coordinates departmental meetings, delegates and manages departmental workflow.
Responsibilities
Responsible for generating profitable on-line sales through brand or product awareness, natural search optimization, effective use of cpc campaigns, social media, email, eCmapus.com Marketplace and affiliate marketing programs
Responsible for developing and maintaining a continuous site improvement plan using Omniture and Tealeaf analytics tools
Responsible for all web design and content changes
Responsible for developing annual strategic marketing plans and managing all aspects of plan implementation including budgetary responsibilities
Responsible for managing Marketing Department staff to ensure successful plan implementation of all projects related to the strategic marketing plan
Works with Executive level to communicate project updates, timelines, and initiatives
Analyzes competitors and market trends
Experience
Bachelor degree required (in marketing, communications, and/or management preferred). Advanced degree a plus. Ideal candidates must have at least five years of experience in online marketing.
Skills
Critical thinking skills are vital for the successful candidate, in addition to analytical problem-solving skills.
Applicants should be quick learners to assimilate market changes and opportunities as they occur. They must also thrive under pressure, as this position is often demanding.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They must possess strong interpersonal and project management skills, as interaction with clients and presentations may be required.
They must be comfortable with all Microsoft Office programs. Experience using Google Analytics and Google Adwords is a requirement. A basic knowledge of Endeca, Omniture Site Catalyst, Ominture Test and Target, Tealeaf, Photoshop is a real plus.
