Marketing Product Manager, TerraPass Inc.

We have been ranked over consecutive years as the #1 Carbon Offset Provider and Best Offset Originator in North America by several organizations, including TreeHugger, Greenopia, Environmental Finance, and the Climate Action Reserve.
We're looking for a Marketing Product Manager to continue growing our online retail business to both individual consumers and corporate clients. The position is based full-time in our San Francisco office and will report to the Managing Director.
Here's what our Marketing Product Manager will do:
-Run the TerraPass retail experience. You'll manage our products, the website, fulfillment and our customer service operations.
-Manage our e-commerce system, and optimize its performance through use of Google Analytics, Google AdWords, as well as drive other SEO/SEM initiatives.
-Manage external contractors. Whether it's IT, web development, or something else, you'll need to negotiate and coordinate.
-Manage our blog, newsletters and mass email communications with our customers and partners. You'll track their success and recommend improvements.
-Day-to-day reporting across the TerraPass business: you'll need to have great facility with numbers; strong proficiency in Excel is an absolute must.
-Help TerraPass launch new products outside our carbon offset business, including product development, targeting, launch, marketing, and the like.
-Contribute to business strategy as a key member of a small team.
Here are the ideal qualities we are looking for in a candidate:
-2-4 years of relevant work experience.
-You get a kick out of doing a lot with a little and learning new things.
-You have a good understanding of e-commerce.
-A good head for web-based consumer marketing, with demonstrated ability to manage online consumer campaigns or promotions from conception to implementation.
-You're comfortable using web applications for email management, CRM and other online tools.
-Excellent and highly structured personal communications ability, especially written.
-Experience reporting and analyzing numbers in one (or more) of a variety of fields.
-Experience of managing contracts to the tightest budgets. You have solicited bids, picked the best contractor and managed a project through implementation.
-Experience with Salesforce and/or Quickbooks is helpful.
-Personal passion for TerraPass company mission is essential. You must also already possess an unrestricted right to work in the United States.
