SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING/OUTREACH MANAGER

We are looking for a spirited and organized individual for a Social Media Manager role at our Los Angeles office. This individual is the key driver in leading accounts.
JOB DESCRPTION:
This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of multiple social campaigns including community oversight, managing assets across multiple social networks, extracting actionable insights from social monitoring data and client interaction.
Responsibilities include:
�?� Manage day-to-day activities of social media channels
�?� Client and partner agency coordination for programs and meetings
�?� Create weekly & monthly reports on client social activities
�?� Edit copy for all social channels that client is engaged in
�?� Keep apprised of all relevant client, industry and market developments
�?� Manage all aspects of outreach campaigns including:
o Developing criteria for identifying relevant influencers according to campaign needs
o Creating outreach list for client approval
o Oversight of entire outreach process i.e. drafting of initial copy, conducting correspondence, maintaining relationship/follow up, reporting on campaign metrics
�?� Provide best practice guidance regarding interaction on social channels, blogs, and forums
�?� Utilizing paid media to obtain editorial placements on clients' behalf where appropriate
�?� Occasional negotiation of ad rates/placements in order to secure placements within budget
QUALIFICATIONS:
�?� Marketing experience (2-4 years preferable)
�?� Strong interest and/or previous experience in online/social media marketing (1-2 years preferable)
�?� Extreme familiarity with online social networking tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, forums and blogs)
�?� Knowledge of public relations best practices preferred
�?� Comfortable speaking to editors of, and contributors to, major publications both traditional and digital
�?� Efficient problem solver with excellent written and oral communication skills
�?� Strong quantitative analysis skills
�?� Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
�?� Enjoy working in a fast pace, collaborative team environment
�?� Bachelors Degree in Business/Communications preferred
�?� Agency experience preferred
