Partner Marketing Manager, Online / Dolby / San Francisco, CA

Based in San Francisco, reporting to the marketing lead for Dolby's Online business, the Marketing Manager Online / OTT Content will be working with Content Service Providers and Online Aggregators to help them communicate the benefits of Dolby's technologies to subscribers and viewers. Today Dolby's technologies enhance the entertainment experience with immersive and exciting audio, including surround sound; in the near future Dolby will also be bringing new video technologies to this market. This role will provide the necessary materials, messages and ideas so that Dolby's partners �?? who's products people all around the world use every day �?? can excite their customers about the benefits Dolby brings to those products. This role will define specific marketing campaigns and work directly with Dolby's sales and marketing staff around the world.



The successful candidate will be a strong marketeer, with a global outlook and a good grasp of underlying technologies used in delivering multimedia content to online devices; someone who has proved they are able to present and promote new online content propositions to consumers; someone who can demonstrate a passion for communicating exciting propositions and products that will grow Dolby's business in providing great audio on any content enjoyed online; someone who either has gained experience outside of the US or can demonstrate an ability to think and work globally.
Responsibilities:

Thoroughly understand the current online entertainment content ecosystem and its drivers (through experience, research, customer contact and global intelligence gathered from Dolby's staff and partners around the world).
Devise and promote tailor-made marketing propositions that make clear the value Dolby adds to multimedia content experiences for Content Service Providers and Online Aggregators; Providers and Aggregators then use these to promote services to their customers.
Take responsibility for creation and Implementation of any consumer-facing partner marketing programmes and tactical promotions; work closely with partners.
Provide and coordinate specific in-market support, supporting external partners and Dolby's global sales teams.
Devise and co-ordinate PR opportunities
Create materials for all the above
Manage events for all the above
Develop a roadmap for Dolby's marketing and promotional propositions with key partners around the world: ensure this is integrated into Dolby's wider marketing.
Contribute to the team's business plan for growth.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in Marketing and Promotion, connected with online content, ideally developing compelling propositions for Content Service Providers and Online Aggregators.
Demonstrable excellent communications, verbal and written; someone who can communicate credibly to customers on marketing and promotion and can represents technology in a way that marketing professionals will consider as an informed expert.
Ability to develop valuable professionally relationships with customers and partners.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams and to build strong network of contacts and communications both inside and outside of Dolby
Proven problem solving skills.
Experience in international markets. Ability in a second language is an advantage.
Domestic and international travel required
