The Interactive Entertainment Business Group Marketing Team is looking for a Global Product Marketing Manager 3rd Party Games to support and implement the Xbox global strategy against the priorities of the global 3rd party games portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Global 3rd Party Games, this person will drive, coordinate and oversee fully integrated worldwide partnership and product launches for platform driving 3rd party published games on the Xbox 360 console that achieve primary business goals of building brand, platform leadership and Xbox LIVE.
This person will support external and internal communications and coordination of the games portfolio to several audiences including the functional global marketing leads, 3rd Party Publishers, the Xbox regional marketing teams in N. America, EMEA and APAC and the 3rd party Account Management team responsible for the business relationship with 3rd Party Publishers.
This person will be expected to help evangelize the 3rd party games marketing strategy across multiple marketing functions including demand and channel advertising, Xbox Live, CRM, Xbox.com, PR, promotions, events and special projects as well as manage campaign approvals, asset delivery and global campaign summaries for internal and external audiences.
The successful candidate should have excellent insight into the console video game category and demonstrate an ability to think strategically and analytically about the business, competitive landscape and consumer needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in marketing integration, category understanding and partner management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evangelize the content priorities of the 3rd Party Games business group into actionable, global go-to-market strategies.
- Deliver fully integrated GTM campaigns on platform driving 3rd party content.
- Partner with key stakeholders in the global marketing and regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and drive execution excellence against these priorities and objectives for the 3rd party business.
- Drive and own global marketing kick-offs and globally integrated programs.
- Represent the global business needs of Xbox with publishing partners while balancing and finding the right partnership opportunities that are mutually beneficial for the global and regional organizations.
- Manage special projects leveraging 3rd party publisher IP including packaging initiatives, hardware and platform integration and global consumer campaigns.
- Support and build upon global 3rd party games marketing �??best practices�? to deliver best in class 3rd party games marketing partnerships.
Qualifications:
- At least 5-7 years marketing experience in the games industry.
- Experience delivering global co-marketing campaigns with 3rd Party Partners
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to influence and collaborate with teams and individuals.
- Strong analytical abilities and category insight.
- Solid organization, communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) is required. MBA a plus.
