About the Role

The Senior Field Marketing Manager develops and implements field
marketing and lead generation plans and programs supporting the Enterprise sales
organization. Key objectives include creating awareness and education of
SuccessFactors product and service offerings, establishing and managing lead
generation campaigns, and generating qualified sales leads through direct
marketing and other field marketing approaches.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement integrated marketing programs focused on creating
awareness, education, interest and qualified sales leads aligned with business
and revenue goals (direct to end user and through partners) for the company's North American Enterprise sales team. Activities to include electronic / direct mail, telesales, webinars, standalone events, conference and tradeshow participation, partner programs, SEO/SEM, list development and more. Track marketing activity through sales follow-up and create ROI/metrics reports. Report to Director of Americas Field Marketing and work closely with sales organization.

Qualification and Requirements:

Position Responsibilities

- Regional Plan �?? Work with Enterprise sales team to develop and successfully execute on activities to help drive revenue success
- Understanding of sales cycle to identify opportunities to maximizing lead generation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunities
- Marketing Knowledge �?? Understanding and execution of integrated campaigns, online and social media tactics, event-based marketing, metrics and analytics
- Results Tracking - Ability to evaluate, analyze, and clearly report on program performance, demonstrating return on program dollars spent, recommending adjustments or changes as needed to optimize results
- Partner Marketing �?? Development and day to day execution of the demand generation plan with partners collaboration with the sales, global partner marketing and operations organizations
- Travel required 25 to 50%

Required Education, Professional Background, Knowledge and Experience

- Bachelors' degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
- 6+ years relevant field marketingexperience; Enterprise software experience preferred; SaaS Experience highly desired.
- Experience in developing regional plans supporting the Enterprise segment a must
- Field Marketing positions held at companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, Peoplesoft, SAP, Cisco, IBM, HP preferred
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
- Channel/Partner Marketing experience required
- Collaborative team player willing to jump in where necessary to achieve
goals and promote company growth
- Work cross-functionally with all other internal counterparts responsible for bringing global marketing programs into the North American market.

Essential Skills:

- Ability to learn quickly and to communicate about new technologies in a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines when
necessary
- Strong attention to detail and effective project management skills
- Proven leader with out-of-the-box ideas and able to identify fresh, forward-thinking techniques to reach lead generation and revenue
goals
- Excellent oral presentation, written communications, and sales interaction skills are a must
- Experience with commonly used marketing tools including web-based collaboration tools, CRM systems, Salesforce, Eloqua
