This person will be responsible for helping us to drive deeper engagement with our current shows and channels, including "Remake America" on Yahoo (http://news.yahoo.com/elections/remake-america/), and "Everyday Health" on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/EverydayHealth).
This candidate will possess significant knowledge of social media, including strategy, major and emerging social platforms, and best-in-class analytics and tracking tools. The ideal candidate will exhibit a combination of editorial judgment, creative marketing abilities, and technical expertise with social media platforms.
Reports to the 3 founding partners (bios on our website).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Trium point person for channel management, in coordination with our publishing partners and show talent.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide channel recommendations to optimize social media engagement, employing best practices.
- Help to devise and implement strategies to promote our programs by leveraging the social media footprint of our talent/celebrity hosts.
- Provide company founders with competitive analysis and trend monitoring.
- Build presentation materials outlining strategies and tactics for channel programming and marketing.
- Implement and share best practices with peers.
Experience Required:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in helping to devise and manage social media campaigns.
- Experience devising and implementing social media marketing strategies.
- Experience with all major social platforms. Candidates will be required to show hands-on experience, either professionally or personally, through their social media footprint.
- An early adopter who is tuned in to the latest developments and innovations in the social media space.
- Highly analytical and strong understanding of performance metrics as they relate to social endeavors.
- Fundamental knowledge of social advertising opportunities across the major social platforms.
- Proficient in areas outside of social media (insight, SEO, PPC market research, mobile, and traditional media).
- Strong time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, monitor, & respond to changes quickly.
- Basic site admin skills (e.g. managing our website/CMS/news feed).
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Must live in Los Angeles (offices are in Studio City, CA)
