An SEM Badass. A smart, passionate and motivated senior-level SEM/SEO analyst and guru. We need someone who really knows how to get sites ranked organically, and how to develop a search marketing strategy.

We also currently spend about $50k per month on paid placement so the successful candidate would need to have experience and expertise managing PPC programs and campaigns.

This person would be responsible for ALL aspects of our SEM. We are a small company (approx 40 employees) with a robust marketing and development team, looking to add an SEO and PPC expert into the mix.

Position Overview:
The SEM Specialist will research, build and optimize PPC campaigns for our suite of domains in the finance and education verticals. The focus will be to ensure that campaigns are translating into high quality leads and that each campaign is profitable. You will be conducting keyword research, improving click-through rates and quality score, optimizing and testing ad copy, managing bids and PPC budget, and optimizing conversion. You will also be working on other media buys, such as display advertising and targeted placements on niche websites. The ideal candidate for this position will have a technical background, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be very proactive in bringing new ideas to the team.

Responsibilities:
�?� Design, develop, and manage SEM campaigns for a fleet of domains across various search engines, including campaign structuring, keyword research, keyword management, keyword bidding, ad copy writing and testing, and all other core capabilities required to maximize results, drive volume, and hit Cost Per Lead targets
�?� Conduct competitive analysis, benchmarking and monitoring and provide recommendations on increased performance in the areas of paid search
�?� Generate innovative ideas for increasing lead generation in all SEM endeavors
�?� Stay up-to-date on latest SEM strategies and trends, while continually leveraging new tools and industry best practices to boost effectiveness of campaigns

Requirements:
�?� 2+ yearsʼ experience within a dedicated in-house SEM position
�?� Experience in managing large Google AdWords campaigns of at least $50K/month
�?� Google AdWords Certified
�?� Experience in managing Cost Per Acquisition / Cost Per Lead campaigns
�?� Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing and PPC advertising, including the building and optimizing of campaigns
�?� Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics
�?� Strong analytical skills
�?� Proficient cross-departmental collaboration and communication
�?� Great attitude and a willingness to learn
