TMNCorp, a full-service communications firm located in Silver Spring, Maryland, is looking for an experienced mid-level social media/digital communications professional to create innovative social marketing and public relations campaigns through social media platforms. This is an �??as needed�? position that has potential to turn into a full-time position.
In this role this person will be responsible for the following:
�?� Oversee all phases strategic social media/digital campaigns including project planning, research, design, content development, implementation, monitoring and reporting
�?� Monitoring implemented social media and online marketing strategies
�?� Building new social media presences & expand existing ones
�?� Incorporating social media/digital and online marketing strategies into larger plans
�?� Identify and set key metrics and provide metrics on a regular basis
This person will work closely with account managers and team members to produce effective integrated campaigns for our government, non-profit and corporate clients. He/She is expected to expand TMN's social media/digital communications capabilities, monitor and stay up to date on the latest trends and lead the social media/digital component of new business pitches.
Qualifications
�?� Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of related experience in the social media/digital communications space
�?� Experience and strong grasp of digital strategy, design, production and project management to leverage social media
�?� Solid comprehension of digital tactics and the role played within a larger, integrated communications campaign as well as understanding of marketing research and communications planning
�?� Strong online presence (Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, YouTube, etch)
�?� Knowledge of SEO and paid search (experience preferred)
�?� Experience with online paid campaigns (Google, Bing, Facebook, etc)
�?� Ability to generate, analyze and explain key web and social media metrics
�?� Understanding of emerging technology and trends, and how to best align content, technology and user needs
�?� Excellent writing skills
The ideal candidate will have relationships with bloggers and proven knowledge and experience with user-generated media, online social networks, and front and back-end programming.
