The Digital Partnership Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, and management of digital partnership marketing programs, marketplaces (i.e. eBay and Buy.com), and alternate payment marketing programs (i.e. PayPal, Bill Me Later) in support of the Toys"R"Us portfolio of e-commerce brands (Toysrus.com, Babiesrus.com, FAO.com, and eToys). In this role, the Digital Partnership Marketing Manager will develop, support, and manage end-to-end online marketing campaigns that increase qualified traffic, conversion, and sales revenue for online and in-store marketing initiatives. The individual in this role will work closely with our external marketing agency to manage all ongoing activities related to marketplace programs including developing full year marketing plans, tracking program performance, and executing new initiatives. Additionally, this position will work closely with internal marketing, merchandising, and web experience teams in support of overall company objectives and activities.
Responsibilities:
�?� Digital Marketing Partnerships: Manage and develop existing marketing partnerships and programs. Research, evaluate and recommend new partnerships that will help achieve organizational goals and drive incremental value for the business. Define success metrics pre-campaign and provide program post-analysis against initial forecasts. Accountable for all results and related performance metrics for marketing partnerships.
�?� Marketplace management: Manage current marketplace partnerships (eBay and Buy.com) for each Toys�?R�?Us e-commerce brand. Provide performance reporting and analysis. Develop marketing plans to drive profitable sales growth with accountability for results. Research, evaluate and recommend new marketplace opportunities.
�?� Alternate Payment: Own alternate payment relationships from a marketing perspective. Develop yearly on-site promotional plan for alternate payment types. Manage creative development, program execution, and budget parameters. Provide timely reporting and analysis on alternate payment marketing programs. Find new ways to leverage alternate payment to drive on-site conversion.
�?� Industry expertise and new initiatives: Continually build expertise with respect to industry trends and innovations. Serve as enterprise-wide digital marketing subject matter expert. Identify and build relationships with key industry contacts. Provide internal education to non-technical merchant and marketing teams. Develop business cases in support of new initiatives that drive incremental sales and value to the business. Identify and define success metrics and obtain executive support. Monitor competitive activity. Support Global ecommerce team with online marketing best practices, growth strategies and tactics.
�?� Guest Experience: Ensure a pleasant and consistent guest experience in all marketing activities from marketing communications/creative through to relevant landing pages on Toys�?R�?Us e-commerce sites.
Qualifications
�?� BA/BS required, MBA preferred
�?� Minimum 5 years of business development/strategy experience OR ecommerce marketing experience (planning, forecasting, execution and budget management) required.
�?� Traditional marketing experience a plus.
�?� Demonstrated ability to manage and develop people, processes, and cross-functional projects.
�?� Solid track record in strategic partnership/alliance management.
�?� Sharp analytical problem-solving skill set and demonstrated passion for applying it.
�?� Extremely strong negotiation, presentation, and budget management skills.
�?� Proven ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external business partners and ability to seek out the resources and support needed to achieve goals�??a strong interpersonal skill set paired with an exceptionally good attitude is essential to the role.
