Democratic Media Placement Company seeks smart, organized, and personable individual for the Assistant Media Buyer position in our Nassau County, NY office.
The Assistant Media Buyer will participate in all aspects of media planning and placement for our political candidate, issue and advocacy clients.
Duties include:
�?� gather and organize media costs and ratings information from media outlets, station sales representatives, subscriber databases
�?� utilize media buying software and tools to develop and implement buys for television, cable, radio, outdoor, and digital media
�?� maintain all media buys and manage results
�?� track and document competitors' media buys
�?� deliver & confirm traffic instructions and creative
�?� post-buy reconciliation of accounts
Political, campaign, or legislative experience is required, with prior political finance or political media experience an advantage. Knowledge of pop culture a plus. College degree required, plus excellent references.
Attention to numeric detail and organization is a MUST, as is strong follow-through. Must have proven proficiency with spreadsheet (MS Excel) and word processing software, as well as internet resources. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding verbal and written communication skills and thrives in an energetic, stimulating environment.
