Gate 1 Travel is a growing tour operator that has been providing independent vacation packages, escorted tours and cruises to international destinations for 30 years. Gate 1 Travel is seeking a motivated in-house marketing manager. Responsibilities will include the coordination of ongoing marketing campaigns as well as the creation and implementation of new direct marketing initiatives. Tactics may include but are not limited to e-marketing, direct mail, print, social media and PR. Proven strength and experience in any of these areas will be considered a significant plus.
The marketing manager will join an existing team and report to the Vice President of Marketing.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years direct marketing experience. Experience should include advertising, product promotion and brand management
Attention to detail and deadlines
Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities Include:
Measure and analyze current consumer and behavioral metrics
Create and implement strategic & tactical B2C & B2B direct marketing initiatives
Develop value-prop content and materials to be used in collateral print materials and online placements
Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, and Information Technology departments to drive qualified leads and improve conversion rates
Coordinate multiple aspects of marketing campaigns (i.e. budget creation, scheduling, tracking, analysis)
The position is full-time. The employee will be based out of the Ft Washington office.
