Job Description
In this role you will report to the Director of Customer Acquisition and you will have direct ownership & responsibility for all analytics, reporting & analysis to both the product and marketing groups.

We are about to engage in a completely new way of acquiring & retaining customers and need your expertise to direct us in the right direction.

You will be both technical and analytical with experience defining and implementing reporting solutions and the ability to transform data into actionable business insights and communicate those across the organization.

This position requires 5+ years of experience working in an Analyst capacity for a consumer Internet business and an appetite to drive tangible business results. Additionally, we�re looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, willing to take charge and who enjoys working in a fast-paced constantly evolving environment where they will be responsible for establishing the reporting framework from the ground up.


Job Responsibilities
-Analyze data to identify factors that influence user engagement
-Help design game mechanics, including scoring system to incentivize users to engage with the product and promote social awareness
-Help define required reporting metrics, design and implement data pipeline, storage infrastructure, and database schemas
-Work with Product and Marketing to define data and reporting needs
-Provide leadership around the reporting infrastructure, helping to evaluate, recommend and implement reporting and data warehouse solutions
-Work with the Product and Marketing teams on reporting needs with a focus on understanding user behavior in trial and subscription
-Develop self-serve reporting tools that allow for decentralized access to key reporting metrics across Product, Marketing & Business Development


Job Experience
Nice To Haves:
-Knowledge of python or other scripting language
-Experience with linear and logistic regression
-Experience in probabilistic modeling
-Experience with Internet subscription businesses


Required Experience
The right candidate will be a self-starter who has experience analyzing large datasets and producing relevant visualizations for decision-making.
---Degree in math, statistics, or advanced degree in experimental sciences
---Experience with experimental design and analysis, including significance testing and ANOVAs
---Experience with R, matlab, or similar analysis toolkit
---Experience with data warehousing and aggregation frameworks
---5+ years of experience working as an Analyst in the consumer internet space
---Able to to communicate and present ideas logically to a diverse audience.


Required Education
-Degree in math, statistics, or advanced degree in experimental sciences
