Tasks:
- Tracks and manages marketing expenses in order to ensure that they are
within budget parameters.
- Manages local promotions and event marketing; coordinates with direct
sales staff.
- Translates business needs into analysis designs providing insight,
knowledge, and understanding of customers, products, and industries.
- Develops and maintains demographic and other market data as needed in
order to support marketing goals.
- Gathers and communicates marketing campaign information and subscriber
feedback in order to promote a common understanding of marketing
campaigns, changes, and issues.
- Analyzes subscriber numbers and packages and revenue to determine
performance compared to budget.
- Develops financial models in designing packaging and pricing to ensure
competitive position in market.
- Creates reporting to measure success of marketing programs.
- Assists with maintaining and improving ongoing marketing programs,
analyses, and reports.
- Develops new ideas and communicates potential uses for analytics
across the business.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Comcast Interactive Media (CIM) is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager with expertise across several areas including social media, digital word of mouth, public relations, and entertainment marketing. As a Social Media Marketing Manager for CIM, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for driving traffic, awareness & retention of Comcast's customer-focused web properties and mobile applications (xfinity.com, xfinityTV.com and the XFINITY Mobile Apps). In this role, you will activate social media channels to drive awareness and views of TV/Movie content available on Comcast's websites and mobile applications.

We're looking for a candidate who is a true self-starter who can work effectively across many groups within the company. The position requires a proven track record building SM-based relationships both internally and externally to meet strategic goals.

DUTIES:

�?� Lead social media efforts for xfinity.com, xfinityTV.com, and the XFINITY TV app
�?� Day-to-day management of the XFINITY Facebook page - including: strategy, marketing, tracking, reporting and monitoring
�?� Management of CIM's other branded social channels including the @xfinity_tv twitter account
�?� Coordination of messaging for the XFINITY branded social channels with Editorial and Marketing Communications teams
�?� Working with Editorial/Content Teams as well as Content providers (TV Networks) to promote key content opportunities using social channels
�?� Active monitoring of social channels within the entertainment category, competitive tracking
�?� Serve as liaison between CIM and the larger NBCU/Comcast organization for co-promotion of social channels
�?� Work with CIM product team to identify opportunities to add social features to CIM products to enhance the consumer experience
�?� Serve as CIM point person for all PR initiatives and questions related to our products; help manage PR agency for CIM
�?� Other responsibilities include support of special projects to help promote CIM sites and tools

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

�?� Proven history of social media marketing successes in previous organization(s)
�?� Must posses a passion for TV, movies, entertainment and technology
�?� Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or Related field
�?� 5+ years experience with a website, TV network or ad agency, preferably 3+ years focused in Social Media
�?� Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
�?� Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with executive communication
�?� Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Office products (Photoshop a plus)
