This is an exciting and game-changing time to be working in the social media space and help define the future of OPEN's social communities. OPEN is the Small Business division of American Express whose mission is to drive more business to small business.

This Senior Manager of OPEN Social Media is responsible for exploring new and emerging platforms to establish new OPEN social communities. The goal of these communities is to increase OPEN's equity in the small business space by building brand evangelism and promoter-ship among our customers and prospects.

The Senior Manager will also identify synergies and integrate with the existing OPEN social ecosystem (including Facebook and Twitter) to deliver a seamless and holistic experience. Additionally, the Senior Manager will focus on identifying influencers within our social communities and developing a strategy to leverage those influencers as OPEN advocates.

Specifically, this role will focus on:
- Identify and explore new/emerging platforms to establish new OPEN social communities
- Define strategy/vision for new social communities
- Develop innovative test & learn tactics to increase engagement with and amplification of OPEN content and messages
- Collaborate with internal partners to support relevant offer, product and servicing messages in social channels
- Partner with Global Advertising/Brand Management on defining and developing media plans to grow and engage the communities
- Define opportunities to identify and leverage influencers as brand advocates
- Establish measurement capabilities across new communities launched

This Senior Manager will report into the Director of OPEN Social Media.
