The ABC affiliate in sunny Denver, CO is seeking a new media executive producer who possesses strong experience in the fields of journalism and digital media.

Experience working in a fast-paced TV newsroom environment with a track record of innovation and excellence is highly desirable.
The Executive Producer of New Media will coordinate, manage and optimize the digital efforts of all newsroom and digital media staff, sharing best practices and providing updates from the corporate digital and new media team.
The Executive Producer of New Media is a high level leader within the new media department and newsroom.
Responsibilities:
-Develop holistic digital growth strategy for all platforms; identify key content opportunities and execute.
-Provides leadership, training and suggested improvements to newsroom staff and new media staff to grow pageviews, visits, referrals, and social media fans.
-Works directly with the TV News Director, Director of New Media and other newsroom managers in creating, executing and monitoring aggressive digital, social media and TV newsroom strategies
-Reports, writes and produces content for TV station's website, digital platforms and social media platforms.
-Monitors and analyzes key metrics, flagging emerging trends and issues.
-Builds out special sections, big coverage sidebars and site features, including databases, to enhance online and TV coverage and increase user engagement.
-Works with other departments, including sales and marketing, as needed on site and station initiatives that require content integration and promotion.
-Monitors newsroom's use of social media and new media tools and trains staff as necessary.
-Explores ideas in the social and digital space to make an impact in our local communities and on the media landscape.
-Understands the consumers' needs on the differing digital platforms and produce, and get team to produce, content that fits the need of the platform
Requirements:
-Proficient in use of Content Management Systems, TV newsrooms systems and standard Office productivity programs.
-Knowledge of journalistic processes, standards and workflows in news stations.
-Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
-Must be able to multitask, prioritize and delegate.
Education & Experience
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Minimum of 5 years in traditional broadcast journalism and/or online journalism field
-Online journalism experience a must, broadcast expertise preferred.
-Experience working with news workflows.
-Proven ability to lead change through direct hands-on collaboration and management.
-High level of Internet, new media and social media proficiency.
