MARKETING MANAGER, Navitas at WKU

Navitas at WKU provides a range of pathway programs for international students to enter Western Kentucky University and successfully complete their undergraduate or graduate studies. WKU is a highly regarded public university and aspires to be a Leading American University with International Reach. Located on the beautiful WKU campus in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the campus offers easy access National Parks, metropolitan cities such as Nashville, Tennessee and a very comfortable community in which to live.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of the Marketing and Student Recruiting for the pathways programs delivered by Navitas at WKU. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Essential Skills and Experience include:
�?� Legal right to work in USA
�?� Bachelors Degree in relevant marketing or related discipline together with marketing experience
�?� Highly developed interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
�?� Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a marketing/recruitment environment, or strong evidence of the
�?� capability to supervise staff to obtain desired outcomes
�?� Exceptional customer service and student-centered philosophy critical to this position
�?� Knowledge of U.S. university marketing and admissions for both undergraduate and postgraduate international students
�?� Proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies, which have significantly contributed to business growth
�?� Experience working in a multicultural environment
�?� Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
�?� High degree of computer literacy
�?� Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and locally
�?� Valid driver's license
�?� Ability to pass a police background check
Desirable
�?� Fluency in Mandarin Chinese or Arabic or other languages applicable to key international student markets
�?� Prior professional work experience in an educational environment
�?� A good understanding of the USA college sector
�?� Prior experience with e-marketing
