Digital Marketing Manager in New York is responsible for managing, planning and directing resources needed for strategic development & planning, thought leadership and day-to-day optimization of our clients' Search Engine Marketing, Display and Social Media programs on Google, MSN, Facebook and all other designated engines.
As a Digital Marketing Manager you will need to be excited about digital advertising, know our client's business as well as they do, be forward thinking, analytical, creative, and detail-oriented and a team-player.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead assigned Account Development team
- Lead management and optimization efforts of key client campaigns and cross channel media, with influence over supporting team members including Associate/Account Managers
- Drive strategic program development and identify areas for up sell and account growth
- Drive resources and provide client recommendations to include: search engine marketing, display remarketing, biddable ad exchange media, mobile, Facebook, creative and analytics
- Master and maintain vast knowledge of clients business, competition, and industry news and trends
- Ensure development and execution of client programs
- Provide leadership in the development of client strategies and presentations
- Drive client reviews and meetings
- Participate in the hiring, training, development, mentoring and retention of staff members
- Contribute to company initiatives, processes and roll-outs
Requirements:
- BA/BS required
- 8+ years business experience
- 4+ years search engine marketing experience
- Demonstrated track record of client relationship building
- Proven experience managing teams
- Strong negotiation skills
- Performance marketing experience in digital media, preferably SEM
- Highly organized and analytical
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel (pivots, v-lookups, etc) and PowerPoint
- Experience working in a start-up/small company environment (preferred)
Top 3-5 must have skills:
- 8+ years business experience
- 4+ years search engine marketing experience
- Demonstrated track record of client relationship building
- Proven experience managing teams
