Who are we?
* We are part of EMEA LED Systems team, reports to Regional and Marketing Manager LED Systems EMEA
* We cooperate in close contact with Global Product Management to develop product roadmap.
* We work with the regional sales organizations (OEM and PROF) to ensure MIP process and stimulate sales.
Your Responsibilities:
Purpose of the job
1) Business Development of LED Systems in the Retail segment in the EMEA market
* Develops the LED Systems sales working together with downstream organizations.
* Actively develops market opportunities beyond traditional organizational sales focus in line with the needs of our business
2) Develops the product roadmap for the region in cooperation with the Global Product Marketer LED Systems Retail . Plan is based on the 3-year marketing strategy, based on brand strategy, business objectives and Lighting segment strategies delivered by the regional segment teams and translated into a 1-year marketing plan. In this role, 2 elements are key:
* develop and maintain the application and product portfolio within the GBU
* contribute to RSTs to develop and deploy the GBU application roadmap
The responsibilities
* Business development and drive Sales process
* Act as the regional representative of LED Systems Retail
* Validate product concepts, based on validated VPHs
* Develop and deliver input to product roadmap together with Global Product Marketer
* Develop and execute specific product training for countries sales force and customers (aligned with segment training modules)
* Database and product management.
* Develops regional pricing strategy for product category
* Develops competitive analysis and associated product positioning
* Provides business case inputs to global marketing manager
* Assists in the development of the customer requirements spec with inputs from Application Engineers
* Develops content for regional marketing collateral �?? data sheets, customer presentations, brochures and web sites
* Champions product proposition with representation at customer road shows & industry trade events
Your Profile:
* Proven track record in product management - strong product and technology knowledge, preference for Lighting experience.
* Strong leadership skills and seniority. Is perceived as undisputed authority in his field
* Understanding of end-user insights and concepts and the translation of this into application strategies
* Strong project leadership skills
* Ability to set up and maintain a strong internal and external network �?? proven track record of �??getting things done�?in a complex organization
* Experience with product/application market introductions
