Overview:
The Industry Marketing Manager leads strategic marketing activities to effectively position Hyland Software in the respective industry and to help achieve industry revenue objectives. The Industry Marketing Manager works in conjunction with colleagues in the marketing team and the sales team to achieve objectives. This role will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and the management of available marketing resources to accomplish marketing and sales goals.
Travel Expectations:
percent. Traveled required for major industry events. Some weekend travel may be necessary
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and manage marketing plan and budget in support of industry sales goals, as well as implement and track performance of marketing plan, budget and sales goals. Act as single point of contact for industry marketing support across all other Hyland departments. Act as industry spokesperson and interface with all levels of organizations, including external customers, executive management, partners, media, and analysts. Be comfortable with delivering an industry related OnBase demo and discussing the relevant solutions.Manage core industry positioning and messaging as they impact sales training and marketing programs for specific vertical solutions. This also includes aggressive demand generation, brand recognition and sales enablement activities. Monitor and report on competitive and product issues with both domestic and international teams and partners. Coordinate with respective industry marketing specialist, industry campaign specialist and lead qualification specialist(s) and other marketing department team members in order to meet or exceed industry specific marketing goals and objectives. Help drive sales tools development as it pertains to respective industry focus. Maintain close relationships with customers to remain aware of customer and industry needs and perspectives. Provide feedback to sales and development to help inform ongoing product development and enhancements. Maintain comprehensive knowledge library of marketplace trends, marketing content and messaging, value propositions, customers, partner network and OnBase solutions as relevant to the sales and marketing of solutions. Develop value-based public relations, analyst relations and social media plans in conjunction with corporate communications team. Manage messaging and production of web content, webinars, blogs, landing pages, case studies, brochures, whitepapers, videos and sales tools. Work with the corporate communications team to edit, optimize and approve content. Creatively re-purpose this content into different pieces as needed. Understand the Universal Employee Objectives of the Hyland Software Marketing Department and uses them as a guide in their day-to-day activities.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Marketing or marketing-related field, or equivalent field experience 7+ years experience in marketing/marketing communications or related Experience marketing and/or selling high-tech solutions into the insurance industry 5+ years experience in insurance marketplace.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong writing and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of solution selling methodologies Experience developing marketing plans and budgets
Work Hours: Full Time
