The Microsoft Office marketing team is looking for a smart, talented, and experienced social media professional to join our customer relationship marketing team. This person will be responsible for creating and executing marketing plans to utilize social media to further our business objectives. Specifically, as the person responsible for our social media efforts, you will work closely with the individuals responsible for our e-mail marketing and display advertising channels to engage our customers in ongoing conversations about Office to shape awareness/perceptions about Office, drive trial/purchase of the product, and catalyze usage & advocacy of the Office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Office Mobile, Office Web Apps, etc.).

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Defining and evolving our Office social media strategy as well creating guiding standards, policies, and frameworks;
Growing and strengthening the Microsoft Office social media presence across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other properties;
Working with your e-mail marketing and display advertising peers to leverage social media as part of our Microsoft Office marketing campaigns;
Training internal stakeholders across the company as needed including an initial focus on helping the key stakeholder groups to actively participate in our social media efforts;
Developing and orchestrating an editorial calendar and content strategy for our �??owned�? social media properties;
Manage third party agencies developing apps, creative themes/skins, etc. on our �??owned�? social media properties in support of our key marketing campaigns;
Use key social media tools for listening/monitoring (e.g. Radian6, TruVoice, etc.), engagement (e.g., Context Optional, Buddy Media, CoTweet), and amplification (e.g., CrowdFactory, Meteor, etc.) as needed to drive our social media objectives;
Be the social media SME for the Microsoft Office Division helping others to engage, utilize, and learn from social media in an efficient, effective manner
Managing a social media v-team comprised of a small set of PR/Marketing/Engineering managers who meet regularly to plan and assess various social media programs;

Position Requirements
BA required; MBA highly desired but not required
5-7 years' experience in a marketing position with 3+ years in social media
Proven experience and solid knowledge planning, building, or marketing social experiences
Deep knowledge of the social networking/media space and key trends (subject matter expert)
Passion for understanding customer needs and wants
Passion for online consumer businesses and/or online media & programmed content
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, cross-group structure, influencing teams through collaboration, especially in fluid & ambiguous environments
Demonstrated business acumen and product strategy experience
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Partnership orientation and proficiency working across internal business units
