Promotion Manager/Marketing Manager:
Television operation in Colorado Springs, CO (DMA #92), is looking for an experienced,
dynamic individual to manage, market and promote the brand identity for KKTV 11 News (CBS) and also to function as the News Brand Manager in this senior management position. If you are a fierce competitor, love the challenge of understanding research, enjoy implementing a plan and have the vision to significantly grow a television station with a great reputation�?� then this may be the opportunity for you!
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
�?� Overall accountability for the news brand and be skilled in enforcement of the brand organization-wide
�?� On-air excellence combined with proficiency in every detail of the brand growth
�?� Writing, lighting, shooting and editing promos from start to finish (experience with Edius Editing system is helpful)
�?� Strong organizational skills and a tight focus in order to successfully execute multiple marketing/branding of news and weather products.
�?� Development of a primary research-based action plan for the entire organization combined with the skill to live the plan, day in and day out.
�?� The proven ability to improve the News product through brand identity, topical promotions and the use of new media.
In addition, this person should also have a proven track record of growing a station in the ratings and working well with a News Department. Four year college degree and prior television marketing management experience preferred.
