Edelman is in search of a digital and social media expert to join our West Coast team as a Social Media Buyer / Implementer. The right person for this job is someone that can use the self service advertising tools including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, continually refine and adjust campaigns based on the client targets / objectives. Provide reporting as needed on the performance and optimization of the campaigns. Write or create image assets for the buy, or task creative to get the assets they need to implement. This is an exciting and very specific position to social media.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
�?� 3-5 years media buying and agency media experience (with at least 2 years relevant social media buying) are required
Other Qualifications
�?� Understands the logistics around planning a social media campaign to meet both strategic and tactical marketing objectives as well as budget recommendations
�?� Strong understanding of how to manage Twitter, Facebook and YouTube advertising campaigns
�?� Understands and can navigate the intricacies of buying media on all different social media platforms that are in the market
�?� Strong understanding of how to identify demographic and keyword targets for deploying effective ads
�?� Thorough knowledge of social media advertising metrics including:
o A/B Testing
o Campaign Optimization
�?� Strong negotiation skills
�?� Ability to write and optimize copy for social and traditional advertisement. Samples submitted with resume a plus
�?� Familiarity with syndicated research and social media monitoring tools
�?� Strong presentation skills
�?� Passion for harnessing the multitude of new media options and putting them to work for our clients
�?� Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or equivalent, relevant experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
�?� Lead the research, planning and development of comprehensive social media advertising programs and new business pitches
�?� Work with a social media team to develop and manage ongoing social media marketing plans for campaigns targeting both B2B and B2C audiences
�?� Be day-to-day lead with account teams and be responsible for flawless execution of complex social advertising strategies
�?� Provide reports on campaign performance, which include insights and optimization recommendations
�?� Answer all in-depth social media advertising inquiries
�?� Manage vendor relationships
�?� Key message development
�?� Propose and provide strategic social media analysis and counsel to clients and target audiences
�?� Ability to write strategic social media advertising plans and a variety of media materials with limited oversight
�?� Assist in the development of creative platform to increase effectiveness/impact of social media campaigns
