Summary:
PeopleBrowsr needs a well-connected SVP Business Development Manager (BDM) to initiate strategy, close and maintain new client relationships from prospecting to project and campaign delivery.
Job Description:
The SVP Business Development and Strategy will be responsible for lead generation, technical and market assessment of client opportunities, preparation of responses to RFPs, and management of campaigns, reports, and development projects both internally and externally as it relates to revenue.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a data, analytics, and/or Internet background with experience working on a new product / platform to coordinate and grow new business - with us.
The ideal candidate will be quick on his/her feet, motivated, and willing to take direction. They will also need to have an entrepreneurial spirit, be resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed.
PeopleBrowsr has offices in the UK, US and Australia, your role will include travel to and working with our global sales team
This position will report directly to the CEO
Responsibilities:
Strategic analysis of sales opportunities in the US target markets - this includes agencies, brands, channel partners
Qualifying Prospects from various sources (e.g. web, trade shows, phone, site visits, etc.)
Follow up with new prospects & renewing customers
Document all Prospect / Customer interactions in Zoho (our CRM platform)
Generate proposals to RFPs
Train Channel Partners
Manage account teams
Provide guidance to other business development team members
Manage client relationship from prospecting to account management
Ability to speak to, or learn quickly to do so, API, data, and customized platform development (experience with one or several)
Write briefs for the operations and development staff
Manage that process across multiple timezones to ensure delivery of quality product to the client on time and on budget
Manage client relationships by setting strong yet achievable goals on campaigns, reporting, and custom development of our analytics platform
Provide Marcomm support as needed
Coordinate with project lead on when project delivery can occur
