We presently have an opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator within New Media-PGATOUR.com. This position will support PGATOUR.com's initiatives with Social Media and other PGA TOUR outreach efforts. The successful candidate will combine a love of golf with a desire to work in a fast paced, digital work environment.
Qualified candidates will have the following:
�?� Bachelor's degree required.
�?� Desire to work in a work-intensive online media environment. Marketing experience and experience with web tools are preferred, but not required.
�?� Knowledge of online social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc), location-based applications and the Internet.
�?� Strong writing ability organizational skills.
�?� Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
Responsibilities:
�?� Coordinate the day to day operations and implementation of:
o The PGA TOUR's Social Media network, by developing and managing content calendars for posting to official social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc) and content distribution outlets (e.g. YouTube, UStream)
o Fan feedback collection and communication
o Social Media network metrics and reporting
o Tracking and monitoring players, events, partners and fans on social media network
o PGA TOUR Matchups Facebook game
o Fan community platforms
o Tournament and partner communication �??�??
�?� Live coverage of PGA TOUR events, players and news on Social Media network.
�?� Work with Manager to assist PGA TOUR players, tournaments and charities on social media strategy, execution, and information sharing between PGATOUR.COM and multiple parties.
�?� Research and understand trends in the marketplace, including competitive analysis, vendors and emerging platforms.
�?� Collaborate to analyze existing outreach and communication efforts, creating new strategies and developing new ways for PGA TOUR to create fan connections.
