APCO Worldwide/Washington, DCAPCO Worldwide, a global integrated communications consultancy, is seeking a vice president/senior digital + creative producer to join the leadership of its online/creative practice. In this role, you will have responsibility for helping to shape the online/creative team's overall performance, growth and revenue, new business initiatives, and talent development. You will work collaboratively with functional leads (creative, client services, user experience, development, social media) to ensure that the digital and creative solutions APCO delivers for its clients are innovative, effective, and address the client's strategy and business requirements.
On a daily basis, you will partner with functional leads by:
Determining how best to deliver client solutions
Managing the primary statements of work, and managing the profitability of the business
Motivating and aligning functional teams to ensure execution against strategy
At a macro level for our online/creative practice, serving as air traffic controller across all major work streams and regions
Engaging account teams and functional leads and defining/implementing optimal team structure(s) to ensure on time, on budget, on strategy delivery
Identifying appropriate resources and ensuring efficient and cost effective production of work
Facilitating the entire creative development process and acting as a conduit for collaboration, effectively managing cross-discipline teams and resources as well as timing and budget issues
Assuring each project flows properly through the firm from research to design to production.
As a senior member of the online/creative practice, you'll also have responsibility for planning, developing, executing and evaluating annual business objectives; providing advice and support around business development and partnership activities; and serving as a key representative of the firm to the public, key stakeholders and business partners. You may also at times have involvement in managing client accounts.
Top candidates will have a BA/BS and ten or more years of experience in an agency or other professional services environment that includes project management/producing for online communications, interactive strategies and creative services. You will be a skilled people manager and leader with a track record of leading, mentoring and inspiring excellence. An entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to be involved in business development also required.
