Social Media/Community Manager (Sports Nutrition and Fitness) / Affinitive / New York, NY

Affinitive is "bulking up!" We are seeking a creative, passionate Community Manager to join our growing team. This person will initially be responsible for executing social media-driven content and consumer engagement/support strategies for several sports nutrition/fitness brands. This is an exciting position with lots of opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

�?� Engage with existing brand audiences as well as external weightlifting and fitness communities by providing an authentic, educated voice across social platforms
�?� Develop creative and exciting on-brand content and promotional tactics to deliver unique value adds for the brand's customers
�?� Effectively cultivate and grow audiences using ethical Audience Development tactics across social platforms
�?� Conduct ongoing social media monitoring, reporting, and analysis using tools such as Radian6
�?� Lead client communication workflow for customer service, response, and crisis management
�?� Report directly to the Account Manager and assist with strategy and reporting, and ensure programs exceed client objectives

Qualifications

�?� 1-3 years brand marketing experience in a digital, direct, or PR role with an emphasis on social media/word-of-mouth marketing
�?� Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
�?� Understanding of and genuine interest in the sports nutrition/fitness industry as it relates to social media is a BIG plus (i.e. you �??walk the walk�? and are active in online fitness communities, perhaps have unlocked the "gym rat" Foursquare badge, use fitness technology tools like Runkeeper, Fitbit, etc. �?? see http://quantifiedself.com/guide)
�?� Excellent verbal and written skills
�?� Ability to think creatively and practically
�?� Proven ability to inspire passion and dialogue among a brand's customers
