INTERN REQUIREMENTS

�?� Passion for environmental issues
�?� Previously experience working on social media campaign ideally for a non-profit
�?� Proficient in working on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Ning
�?� Knowledge of HTML, Joomla, Microsoft Office, Google Docs
�?� Excellent research skills, internet navigation abilities
�?� Enjoy working in a team environment


INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
�?� Assist in the re-design of the Earth Day New York website
�?� Update Facebook and Twitter feed with events, announcements and media mentions
�?� Create social media campaigns and contests to increase fans and followers
�?� Responsible for daily website updates
�?� Support the planning and coordinating of e-mail campaigns
�?� Strong organizational and leadership skills, initiative, and maturity
�?� Available to assist with Earth Day events on April 20th �?? 23rd
�?� Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
