Upstream Marketing

Your Responsibilities:
The Consumer Marketing Manager contributes to the global new product development process from ideation to launch planning. Responsible for driving product innovation that is a key catalyst for company growth. This role offers an attractive balance between strategic thinking and �??hands on�? work and requires collaboration with numerous stakeholders, including senior management. This role utilizes the full spectrum of brand marketing skills.
- Contributes to the development of long-term marketing strategies designed to grow the Oral Healthcare business though new products and marketing initiatives.
- Assists in the development of business plans, monitors budgets and the innovation timelines to meet business creation objectives.
- Works with global Market Research and Regional Marketing Managers to develop consumer insights relevant to innovation projects.
- Translates validated concepts into clear detailed product specifications for development.
- Represents the voice of the consumer on the product innovation team working collaboratively with partners in Market Research, Marketing Communication, Innovation & Development, Clinical Affairs and Regional Marketing Managers from concept creation through global launch. Responsible for ensuring the end product meets the requirements of the validated concept.
- In partnership with Regional Marketing Managers, to collects and synthesizes industry trends, competitor profiles, market feedback, and product sales performance into future business opportunities.

Your Profile:
- To be successful in this job, you need to be a strategic thinker, a solid organizer and an excellent communicator to numerous audiences, including senior management, as well as internal and external customers;
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset towards the product, processes, organization and the market at large;
- Be curious about various fields of activity (within/outside marketing, industry or category);
- Be able to act as a team player who successfully creates an environment that inspires and motivates others;
- Have an affinity for oral healthcare products and consumer health and wellness in general.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A Bachelor's Degree, in Marketing or Business Administration. MBA preferred.
- 3 to 5 years related progressive experience required.
- Prior progressive experience in New Product Development/Ideation, Brand/Product Management or Project Management desired.
- Knowledge of marketing plans and business case development, consumer insights development, and new product launches.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams with special emphasis on consensus building.
- Ability to communicate information to a wide spectrum of audiences.
- Experience developing and adhering to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements desired.
- Demonstrated problem solving capability
- Able to support or defend a position or idea in a clear, concise and persuasive manner.
- Interest in international work assignments helpful.
