Position Description:
The Web & Social Media Designer is responsible for current and relevant web page design and development; including designing site layout in its entirety, page creation, graphics and icons as well as building and maintaining social media channels.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
�?�Work closely with Creative Services Manager and team to design and develop website.
�?�Responsible for navigation of website, determining both layout and basic presentation.
�?�Create high-quality, attractive design for the website and keep all content areas current (items such as fact sheets, label, bottle shots, accolades, etc).
�?�Collaborate with Brand/PR on social media strategies and define programs to increase traffic, visibility and awareness of brands and company.
�?�Monitor social media trends, tools and applications as it applies to company needs- exploring new ways to leverage social media.
�?�Oversee execution of email marketing initiatives.
�?�Track and measure success of the web and social media.
�?�Keep current on knowledge and skill with all computer software related to the design and production of web site maintenance.
�?�Research and evaluate competitors marketing efforts and identify new search opportunities.
�?�Find solutions to increase free traffic to the site through optimization of Web site pages.
�?�Responsible for the timely execution of production including production scheduling, day-to-day project tracking, and project progress reporting.
�?�Interacts and collaborates effectively with internal and external team members to assure creative needs of the company are met. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.
�?�Assures quality of final product before release.
�?�Monitor functionality and maintains security of the web site.
�?�Maintains compliance with all DS&S policies, procedures and requirements as well as all state and federal laws.
�?�Works successfully as part of a team and is responsible for developing then maintaining strong working relationships with co-workers.

Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent and two to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
�?�Ability to conceptualize creative concepts.
�?�Excellent presentation skills.
�?�Proficiency in Adobe tools (including PhotoShop and Illustrator), Dreamweaver, Flash and HTML/CSS.
�?�Expertise in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, Flash; experience writing clean, original code using HTML text editors.
�?�Experience with Drupal, Joomla, Contao, LightCMS or other Content Management Systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
�?�Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 pounds continuously to move objects.
�?�Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
�?�Requires sufficient good health to properly discharge duties.
�?�Requires ability to travel to various geographic locations and some overnight stays.
�?�Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under DS&S's insurance policy.
