We are looking for a SEO Engineer to join our results-based, metrics-driven company. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and to use superior .NET and SQL technology to drive products that are considered the best in our industry. The right candidate will be an exceptional problem solver with high technical aptitude and the desire to learn and grow professionally.As our SEO Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our New and Used Car Buying Service websites including UsedCars.com �?? with a focus on increasing SEO rankings and traffic. This key position will work closely with the Senior SEO Product Manager on defining and implementing the organic traffic strategy for our websites.Position Description
- Implement SEO initiatives on time and with high quality to achieve ambitious growth targets for UsedCars.com.
- Work with the Senior SEO Product Manager and Director of Online Marketing to define and prioritize SEO improvements.
- Develop the ability to shape our SEO strategy in addition to owning its implementation.
- Work closely with the QA team on fast-paced release cycles.
- This is a role for an expert problem solver, who is comfortable with the ambiguity and exploratory approach that characterizes SEO initiatives.
Qualifications Required
(Experience, Skills, Academic):
- Experience with Google analytics and webmaster tools.
- B.S. in computer science or equivalent (M.S. preferred)
- 3+ years of experience programming in ASP.NET and Front-End technologies
- Hard-coding HTML
- 3+ years in CSS and JavaScript
- HTML 5.0 understanding
